Instruction For Use :

For Root canal procedures: Insert the product into the root canal using the syringe with an applicator tip while mechanically preparing the canal. Do not extrude the gel beyond the apex. Adequate care should be taken to restrict the material within the canal. After using the product, rinse the canal with physiological saline. Citrogen Gel is packaged in a multiple dose container (Syringe). Opening and closing of the container does not affect the shelf life of the device. The dispensed material shall not be placed back in the container and the dose once applied and used shall not be reused.

Conditioning of dentine surfaces : Apply the Gel on the dentinal surfaces to the primed or conditioned . Brush it lightly with a Microbrush and leave it in place for a period of 3-5 minutes. Rinse the preparation with physiological saline.
Warnings :
1. The material may cause sensitization in susceptible people. Do not use Citrogen Gel in people allergic to components of this product.
2. Avoid eye contact to prevent irritation. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Avoid skin contact to prevent possible allergic response. Material may cause irritation and therefore contact with skin and mucous membrane should be avoided .In case of contact, immediately remove material with cotton and wash thoroughly with water and soap. In case of skin sensitization or rash, discontinue the use and seek medical attention.
3. Do not swallow or take it internally. If accidental swallowing occurs, drink lots of water. If nausea or illness develops, seek medical attention.
Precautions : 
1. Always use a rubber dam for endodontic therapy. Prevent ingestion of Citric Acid gel.
2. Prevent getting gel in the eyes or leaving it on the soft tissues for an extended period of time.
3. Do not extend the tip to pass the root apex or express citric acid gel past the apex.
4. Do not follow citric acid rinse with Sodium Hypochlorite or vice versa.
5. The tips are disposable and intended for single use.
6. Use protective gloves, glasses and clothing.
7. Take special care when using this product for children because of the danger of excessive softening of tooth hard tissues. The product is fully biodegradable. Keep out of reach of children.
Contraindications : Do not use the product for patients with hypersensitivity to the product’s components. Do not leave the product in the canal or the tooth cavity between visits. This may result in excessive softening of dentin. Restrict the use of the product to a maximum of 5 minutes, when used as a conditioning agent
Storage conditions : This product should be used at room temperature. Contact with water should be strictly avoided. Inadequate storage conditions could shorten shelf life and product performance. We recommend storing at temperatures between 10°C (50°F) and 24°C (75°F) and keeping the syringe cap tightly closed. .
Shelf Life : 2 years from the date of manufacturing.
